My great-uncle George died when I was quite young, so I don't remember too much about him. Aunt Caroline, though, lived until I was an adult. She was outspoken and took no gruff from anybody -- especially my grandfather. I know Caroline and Bud took great pleasure in seeing who could get the better of the other. Sometimes she won, sometimes he won. But it was always in good fun and no feelings were hurt -- at least of which I was aware.
George and Caroline's only son, George, Jr., is alive and well in his beloved Detroit. If you ever want to know anything about the city, just ask George. He knows the architecture, the history, the buisness and he people of Detroit like nobody I've ever met. If the city was smart it would hire George to run their PR compaign!
