3 Howard Burdick note (1): It appears that this Polly Wyant (I10674), who appears in Nellie Johnson's main book, and Polly Wyant (I1112001), who appears in Johnson's supplement, are the same person. Both list David Burdick as their husband and birth/death dates are the same. Their listed children, though, are completely different. Jeff Tenwinkel (I10090032), researcher for this line, indicates additional information must be discovered to resolve the issue but It is believed that the supplement is correct. ? ?

4 Howard Burdick note (2): Jeff Tenwinkel (I10090032) has supplied additional information obtained from 'Annals of Brookfield' bu Emily C. Hawley (1929). This information precisely identifed David Burdick (I1112001) and Polly Wyant (I1112002). Given this, it appears that there are two families headed by David and Polly (Wyant) Burdick who lived in this area at the same time. ? ?

5 Howard Burdick note (3): Additional communication from Jeff Tenwinkel (I10090032) has, as well as can be determined, See the notes under David Burdick (I244) for a complete explanation. ? ?
