The Burdick family genealogy has not been updated since 1937. That was when Nellie Johnson compiled "The Descendants of Robert Burdick of Rhode Island". That genealogy has now moved into the 21st century! And it is being extended. The Burdick Genealogy is presented free of charge for everyone. All information in Ms. Johnson's book is included and new information is continually added. If you are a Burdick and wish to add your information to this important database please contact me. |
Few challenges are greater than battling cancer. While bad in adults, it is truly terrible in children. Tyler Burdick was diagnosed with Infant Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on June 22, 2009 when only 4 months old. After initial treatment he relapsed on April 15, 2011 and had a bone marrow transplant (BMT) on September 15, 2011. He earned his Angel Wings six weeks later, on November 2, 2011. The strength his parents, Stephanie and Dan Burdick, has been nothing short of monumental. Please click here to read more about this astounding family and this wonderful little child. |
As one of America's original families, the Burdicks wish to express their deepest sorrow to the families and friends of those lost in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001. We are all touched by this tragedy and shall not forget. Click here for a gallery of pictures. God bless. |
Calling all Gleichmanns! In addition to being a Burdick, I am also a Gleichmann. My great-grandparents immigrated from Germany to America in the late 1800's. A cousin of mine has been researching this relatively small family, and has some holes. Perhaps you can help. Click here for the Gleichmann family. |
